Adkins sums up fans frustration

Nigel Adkins summed up the frustration felt by many fans after this 2-1 loss when he said "We have to give them (Bristol City) credit because they have gone out and invested heavily in a player to go out and do things like that".
Many would urge our chairman to do likewise although clearly a million pound player is beyond our reach one or two more quality signings like Hurst would not go amiss or break a swelling bank account.
It was Lee Trundle's day at Bristol City, scoring two fine goals .It took Trundle 36 minutes to break the deadlock ,scoring a great goal with a curling left foot stike which flew into the top corner.
Patterson equalised for The Iron 12 mintes later shooting from twelve yards after a low cross from Hurst .
The Iron failed to stay level as two minutes later Trundle struck again with another great goal chipping Murphy for the second time in the game.
Adkins had made three changes to the starting line up which won so comfortably the previous week against Burnley,Sparrow came in for Barraclogh ,Taylor for Forte and Butler in for the struggling Iriekepen.
Taylor in particular seemed to be out of form and confidence while the midfield lacked sparkle again, the big plus point was the re-emergence of Butler as a top centerback and his pairing with Crosby who was also impressive looks to be working very well.
Overall a poor day, long distance travelled, poor game, so poor I can't even be bothered to comment on the second half but ,the pasties were nice.
